Galatasaray May Cool Interest In Nigeria U17s First Choice GK After Failing MRI Test
According to information gathered by allnigeriasoccer.com's editorial staff, Turkish champions Galatasaray may cool their interest in Nigeria U17 international John Amah, with the goalkeeper set to miss out on the Golden Eaglets roster for the upcoming Africa U17 Cup of Nations.

Amah was the undisputed first-choice goalkeeper for the Golden Eaglets at the 2018 WAFU-UFOA Zone B qualifiers, starting all their four matches as the Manu Garba-led side won the regional tournament.

The 16-year-old narrowly passed the Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) test before the trip to Niger and had been in danger of being axed from the AFCON squad and those fears were confirmed after the latest round of MRI tests carried out this month.

Galatasaray had scouted Amah during the UEFA Assist U17 International Tournament held in Turkey last month and planned to watch him in Tanzania this month before making a transfer decision.

French Ligue 1 side Marseille were mulling over a move for the glovesman before the MRI setback.

It is understood that Nigeria U20s coach Paul Aigbogun is considering inviting him to train with the Flying Eagles ahead of next month's World Cup.
