Round up of the Nigerian players that were on target for their respective European clubs on Saturday, April 6.

In the Italian Serie B, former Nigeria U23 star Umar Sadiq made it three goals in six matches by scoring in Perugia's 4-2 loss to Benevento at Stadio Renato Curi.

With 12 minutes gone, the lanky striker blasted the ball into the net after a corner kick was not properly cleared by the Benevento defense.

Sadiq's other goals this season came against Venezia and Salernitana.

Another Nigerian striker suffered a loss with his team despite finding the net in the Italian second-tier as Padova were beaten 2-1 by Carpi at Stadio Sandro Cabassi.

Jerry Mbakogu fired home from inside the box after he was set up by Lorenzo Lollo in the 12 minute.

The Lagos-born striker was on the books of Carpi for five years before mutually parting company with the club in August 2018.
