In the Danish Superliga, promising midfielder Frank Onyeka scored his third league goal of the season as FC Midtjylland lost ground on the leaders FC Copenhagen by being held to a 2-2 draw by Esbjerg FB at the Blue Water Arena.

Hailed as the new N'Golo Kante by the official website of FC Midtjylland, Onyeka broke the deadlock with a brilliant left-footed volley from inside the box less than two minutes into the second half.

Across the border in Norway, one-cap Norway international Ohi Omoijuanfo opened his goalscoring account for his new employer, Molde as they thrashed his former club Stabæk 3-0 at Aker Stadion.

The former Manchester City trialist doubled Molde's advantage in the 38th minute.

In the Swiss Super League, FC Luzern's Blessing Eleke took his tally for the season to 13 goals in all competitions after scoring in the 62nd minute of his side's 2-2 draw at Sion.

In the Turkish 1 Lig, Lanre Kehinde helped Denizlispor claim a 4-3 win against Adanaspor by scoring in the 74th minute.
