The Curse That Was Broken After Super Eagles Star Uche Made His Rayo Vallecano Debut
Nigeria international Uche Agbo finally made his long awaited debut for Rayo Vallecano on Saturday following his introduction in the 73rd minute of their 2-0 win against Valencia at the Campo de Fútbol de Vallecas.

The defensive midfielder broke a personal record after helping Rayo Vallecano beat Valencia as it was the first time he had a winning debut for his club since moving to Europe in 2014.

Though the Super Eagle was once on the books of Udinese and Watford, he never played a competitive game for both clubs.

On Uche's league debut for Granada back in the 2014-2015 season, Granada were beaten 2-1 by Levante. He was in action for six minutes after coming off the bench.

He also ended up on the losing side when he made his debut for Granada II in the Segunda B against San Fernando CD on April 6, 2014.

After that, things got better for Uche as he helped Standard Liege secure a 1-1 draw with KV Mechelen in his first game in the Jupiler Pro League on July 30, 2017.
