Super Eagles Striker Onuachu To Spend This Weekend In The Stands
Published: April 10, 2019Paul Onuachu will play no part when champions FC Midtjylland face OB at the MCH Arena on Sunday, April 14.
The Nigeria international has been suspended by the Danish Football Association, who administer the Superliga, as a result of accumulation of yellow cards.
Onuachu picked up his first booking in 2019 against Aarhus GF (Feb 24), before he was cautioned in matches against Nordsjaelland (March 4) and Esbjerg fB (April 7).
The 2.01 meters tall striker has already served a one-game ban this season for exceeding the yellow cards limit and was not available for selection against OB in the first half of the campaign.
With 14 goals in 25 league matches, Onuachu is FC Midtjylland's top scorer in the Superliga this season, ahead of Jakob Poulsen and Evander who have scored six goals each.
The Wolves are trailing FC Copenhagen by five points ahead of Sunday's game.
