Chelsea-Owned Defender Named Derby County Supporters' Club Player Of The Year
Chelsea-owned defender Fikayo Tomori has won Derby County Supporters' Club Player of the Year, informs the official website of The Rams.

The award was handed to the England U21 star by the supporters at Pride Park Stadium on Saturday evening after Derby County's 4-0 thrashing of Bolton Wanderers in the Championship.

Each branch of the Supporters' Club cast their vote on who they regarded as Derby's star man this season, and Tomori came out on top.

Tomori has earned praise from Chelsea legend Frank Lampard for his performance this season and has seen his market value rise to £6.3 million, his highest market value since he turned professional.

The center back has appeared in 47 matches for Derby County in all competitions this season, of which 46 were starts, scoring two goals and providing an assist.

He was delighted to win the POTY prize and has vowed to help Derby County make the playoffs at the end of the regular season.
