Tottenham & Arsenal Youngsters Of Nigerian Descent Named In England Squad For Montaigu Tournament
Two players of Nigerian descent, Tobi Oluwayemi and Daniel Oyegoke, have been named in the England squad for the ongoing Montaigu Tournament taking place in France.

Oluwayemi is a goalkeeper on the books of Tottenham Hotspur, while Oyegoke plays for Arsenal's youth teams.

The Spurs glovesman will wear the number one jersey for the Young Lions during the prestigious youth tournament contested by U16 national teams and Oyegoke has been handed the number 12 kit.

Allnigeriasoccer.com can confirm that Chelsea winger Adrian Akande was called up by the English Football Association for the tournament but opted to represent the Golden Eaglets at the 2019 U17 Africa Cup of Nations.

In their opening game of the Montaigu Tournament, England U16s lost  2-1 to Argentina, with Oluwayemi and Oyegoke named in the starting line-up.

Kevin Betsy's side tackle Ivory Coast in their next fixture on Thursday, April 18 before wrapping up group play against Portugal on April 20.
