Ahmed Musa Ends Goal Drought & Mimics Coutinho's Controversial Goal Celebration Vs Man Utd
Published: April 18, 2019Ahmed Musa ended a five-month goal drought in the Saudi Pro League by netting a pair of goals as Al Nassr thrashed Al Fateh 5-0 on Thursday.
The Nigeria international had not scored for twelve successive matches prior to today's meeting at the Prince Faisal bin Fahd Stadium (Riyadh).
Musa kept his composure to fire home from close range after receiving a pass from Hamdallah in the 38th minute, doubling Al Nassr's lead in the process, and the winger risked incurring the wrath of the fans following his goal celebration.
Musa put his fingers in his ears as if to suggest that he is not bothered by the criticism of the fans, mimicking how Barcelona's Philippe Coutinho celebrated his goal against Manchester United on Tuesday.
The number 7 set up Hamdallah's second goal before he added more gloss to the scoreline in the 78th minute, taking his tally to 7 goals in 22 league matches.
Al Nassr lead the way in the Saudi Pro League with 64 points from 28 games but have played one game more than second-placed Al Hilal who have 63 points.
