A round-up of the Nigeria-eligible players that were in action for their respective
clubs in the English Premier League on Saturday, April 20.
At the Vitality Stadium, already-relegated Fulham beat AFC Bournemouth 1-0 thanks to Aleksandar Mitrovic's goal from the spot in the 54th minute.
Jordon Ibe was not in the Cherries match day 18, ex-Liverpool and Chelsea man Dominic Solanke played the last 29 minutes, while Nigeria U20 international Nnamdi Ofoborh was a non-playing substitute.
Bournemouth were forced to name Ofoborh on the bench after Adam Smith's withdrawal through injury.
At The John Smith's Stadium in West Yorkshire, a brace from Gerard Deulofeu saw Watford record a 2-1 win against Philip Billing's Huddersfield Town.
Watford coach Javi Gracia made his first change of the game when he introduced Super Eagles striker Isaac Success in the 72nd minute.
Denmark U21 star Billing was omitted from the Terriers 18 despite recovering from his recent injury troubles. Karlan Ahearne-Grant halved the deficit with a close range header in the 90th minute.
Wilfred Ndidi went the full 90 as Leicester City and West Ham shared the spoils with a 2-2 draw at the London Stadium.
With the game tied at 1-1, the Nigeria national-teamer came close to giving the Foxes the lead but his shot went just wide after the ball fell nicely for him inside the box.
On 37 minutes Michail Antonio opened the scoring, Leicester's Jamie Vardy replied midway through the second half, Lucas Perez scored to make it 2-1 with 8 minutes left, before Harvey Barnes's first goal for the club in the 90th minute secured a point for the visitors.
Kelechi Iheanacho hopped off the bench in the 84th minute for his 34th appearance of the season in all competitions.
Leon Balogun was not in the Brighton & Hove side held to a goalless draw by Wolverhampton Wanderers at the Molineux Stadium.
The Super Eagles defender has not played in the Premier League since December 2018.
