U17 AFCON Last Four: What Nigeria, Guinea Coaches Said Post-Match
Speaking at the post-match press conference, coach Manu Garba has rued the chances missed by his side in Wednesday afternoon's 10-9 loss on penalties to the Guineans in the semifinal of the U17 Africa Cup of Nations.

The Golden Eaglets leading scorer in Tanzania, Wisdom Ubani did everything possible to score even from dead ball situations but could not break the deadlock.

''We lost gallantly despite the fact that the Guineans are bigger in size than my boys. We created several chances than the Guineans, we are just unlucky,'' said Manu Garba.

''The ultimate is to qualify for the World Cup of which we have done, so I say congratulations to the Guineans.''

Guinea U17 coach Mohammed Camara said he was happy his team are through to the final and was full of praise for the Golden Eaglets and their technical crew.

''The media and press put pressure on me, I have made history. It is the first time Guinea is playing the final of an AFCON, that's why I lost my voice,'' said a delighted Camara.

''I am very happy winning against a mighty team, Nigeria with such a great coach with great experience.

''For me, it's a great game, it's a great honour. I am very satisfied''.

Two-time African champions, Nigeria will battle Angola in the third place match on Saturday, April 27.
