Why Isaac Success Rejected NFF's Request To Join Super Eagles For March Games
Watford striker Isaac Success rejected an impromptu request from the Nigeria Football Federation to link up with his international teammates ahead of matches against Senegal and Seychelles last month, allnigeriasoccer.com has been informed.

Success had a chance meeting with Nigerian Federation supremo Amaju Pinnick while he was on a short break from his duties at Watford last month and was instructed to report for international duty in Asaba.

But the Hornets number ten did not want to incur the wrath of his Premier League club as he was not officially invited for both games and had no choice than to turn down the request.

The Super Eagles were short in numbers before the friendly against Egypt, with Victor Osimhen, Chidozie Awaziem, Francis Uzoho and Valentine Ozornwafor, who were originally named to the roster, called up to strengthen the Dream Team after they suffered a 2-0 loss in the first leg of the AFCON qualifiers.

Amaju Pinnick had assured Success that he would feature in at least one of the games, if he had made himself available for selection.

The BJ Foundation product had just recovered from injury prior to his trip to Nigeria last month.
