Flying Eagles Return To Training Camp 12 Midnight; Man City Starlet Scores In Friendly Vs Freiburg U23
Published: April 30, 2019The Flying Eagles will return to their pre-World Cup training camp in Ingolstadt on Wednesday morning by 12 midnight due to a shambolic travel arrangement, allnigeriasoccer.com understands.
As at the time of this report, the Nigeria U20s players and officials were on the coach heading to Ingolstadt after their friendly with the U23 team of SC Freiburg.
The Paul Aigbogun-led side played out a 3-3 draw with SC Freiburg U23s in Tuesday afternoon's friendly.
Manchester City's Tom Dele-Bashiru, Enyimba's Michael Effiom and Sogndal's Jerome Akor got on the scoresheet for the Flying Eagles, with the latter netting the equaliser after coming off the bench.
Two more foreign-based players Tijani Muhammed of FC Banik Ostrava and Abdullah Alhassan Yusuf of IFK Göteborg have been included in the Flying Eagles provisional squad list ahead of the tournament in Poland.
The Flying Eagles will take on Qatar, United States and Ukraine in the group stage of the FIFA U20 World Cup.
