Bordeaux Winger Joins Super Eagles Walking Wounded Ahead Of Brazil Friendly
Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr is sweating on the fitness of two players named on the 23-man roster for the international friendly against Brazil next Sunday.

The German has already scratched Kenneth Omeruo from his plans after the former Chelsea defender failed a fitness test ahead of Saturday's game vs Levante.

Joe Aribo has returned to training after suffering a head injury against Livingston in the League Cup eleven days ago but it remains to be seen if he'll figure against the South Americans, though the Glasgow Rangers midfielder has informed allnigeriasoccer.com 'he is fine'.

The latest Super Eagles invitee to visit the treatment room is Bordeaux winger Samuel Kalu.

Kalu is nursing a slight injury and was omitted from a matchday squad for the first time this season when Bordeaux played Toulouse  on Saturday.

Tyronne Ebuehi has been handed a late call-up as replacement for the injured Omeruo but the Benfica man has had his own physical problems this season.

The Portuguese club are monitoring his fitness and have sent him to their U23 team to regain his match fitness ahead of a possible debut for the first team.
