Five Takeaways From Super Eagles 1-1 Draw Against Brazil In SingaporeThe Super Eagles held South American powerhouse Brazil to a 1-1 in their international friendly in Singapore on Sunday.

Allnigeriasoccer.com's Izuchukwu Okosi presents five takeaways from the performance of the three time African champions.

1. Brazil Pressing Limited Eagles Attacking Efforts

The South Americans matched the Eagles for physical strength as they pressed for the ball and were very willing to be combative. Instructively, Nigeria's first real attempt almost resulted in an opening goal as PSG defender  Marquinhos almost conceded an own goal with his clearance  deflecting off the woodwork.

2. Wing Play Proved To Be The Way But Final Passes Let Them Down

The Eagles were menacing from the wings but sadly their final balls left much to be desired.

It was either the ball did not reach the intended player or it was over hit.

3.  Aribo's Goal Seals His International Career For Nigeria

Then the much sought after goal came the African's way just before the half time break.

Rangers' Joe Aribo waltzed past two defenders latching unto the ball from a Moses Simon pass who himself must take credit for s brilliant control of Victor Osimhen's cross.

Based in his goal and general performance on Sunday the languid midfielder has seemingly sealed his future with Nigeria after passing his auditions against Ukraine and Brazil.

4 Collins The Weaker Link In The Full Backs Positions

Paderborn of Germany left back Jamilu Collins proved to be the weaker full back for Nigeria in this friendly.

Gabriel Jesus ghosted past Collins with ease from his position. Furthermore his clearances were speculative at best.

5. Jansen Foo's Questionable Decisions

Singaporean referee Jansen Foo was the  man with the whistle on Sunday afternoon and some of his calls left much to be desired.

For and against Nigeria he got some of them wrong in the first half. There was a foul on Simon and then Brazil's Jesus which could easily have been penalties were overlooked.

In fact in the 2nd minute, he should have stopped play in favour of Brazil - in accordance with the new rules of the game when the ball hit him as the South Americans prowled but he let play  go on.
