The Reason Super Eagles Star Ndidi Has Been Left Out Of Leicester City Squad Against Chelsea

Wilfred Ndidi is a shock omission from the Leicester City squad to face Chelsea at the King Power Stadium on Saturday afternoon, allnigeriasoccer.com reports.
The Nigeria international felt something in his knee when he joined up with the Leicester City squad this morning, so has been dropped as a precautionary measure by manager Brendan Rodgers.
It is the same ailment that kept him on the sidelines for eleven days after undergoing surgery.
Today's clash against Chelsea was an ideal game to assess the qualities of Ndidi as he would have faced world class players in N'Golo Kante and Jorginho as well as rising England star Mason Mount in midfield.
Hamza Choudhury has been given another opportunity to fill the void created by the absence of Ndidi just as was the case against Southampton three weeks ago.
The Super Eagle made a miraculous operation from a meniscus operation to feature in back-to-back games against West Ham and Aston Villa late last month.
Meanwhile, Jamie Vardy's return sees Kelechi Iheanacho drop to the bench, after he started the last two Cup games against Brentford and Aston Villa.
