Top Twenty Players In The Dutch Eredivisie : SC Heerenveen Dazzler Ejuke Is Nigeria's Best

SC Heerenveen dribbling sensation Chidera Ejuke has been rated the best Nigeria-eligible player in the Dutch Eredivisie ahead of Cyriel Dessers (Heracles Almelo), Hilary Gong (Vitesse), Nonso Madueke (PSV) and Hamdi Akujobi (SC Heerenveen), allnigeriasoccer.com reports.

Celebrated Dutch football magazine Voetbal International has revealed the best twenty players in the Netherlands top-flight after 25 matches with only one Nigerian player making the cut.

In sixth place is former Valerenga Fotball wonderkid Ejuke with a rating of 6.54, which is 0.06 less than the top rated player, Mohamed Ihattaren of PSV.

Of the three SC Heerenveen players named in the top 20, the others being Joey Veerman and Mitchell van Bergen, the Nigerian winger was awarded the highest mark.

Including his goal and helper in last weekend's 3-2 win at Twente, Ejike has contributed to 13 goals (9 goals, 4 assists) in 24 league appearances.

Though the left wing role is his favorite position, Ejuke can also be deployed as an attacking midfielder and center forward.
