Former Chelsea Technical Director Michael Emenalo is being linked with the sporting director job at Italian giants AC Milan.
According to the print edition of Corriere dello Sport (via Milan Live), the Rossoneri are planning to bid farewell to Chief Football Officer, Zvonimir Boban and Technical Director, Paolo Maldini at the end of the season and are lining up Emenalo as a potential replacement.
Tuttomercatoweb added that the 1994 World Cup star recently held a meeting with Milan's management team about taking up a position at the club.
Emenalo has been unemployed since leaving Ligue 1 club Monaco, where he was sporting director for two years.
The 54-year-old spent ten years at Chelsea, first as chief scout before he was promoted to technical director, and during his time with the Blues, they won three Premier League titles, three FA Cups, one League Cup, Europa and Champions League.
Emenalo oversaw the arrivals of Super Eagles stars Victor Moses and Kenneth Omeruo while at Chelsea and attempted to sign ex-Nigeria U17 star Isaac Success.
