Five Things You Probably Didn't Know About New Super Eagles Invitee Kingsley Ehizibue
Published: March 05, 2020Cologne star Kingsley Ehizibue is in line to become cap-tied to Nigeria after he was included in the Super Eagles squad list for their upcoming Africa Cup of Nations qualifying matches against Sierra Leone this month.
The former Netherlands U21 international is among eight foreign-born players named in the latest Nigeria squad, the others being Maduka Okoye, Leon Balogun, William Ekong, Ola Aina, Semi Ajayi, Joe Aribo and Cyril Dessers.
Allnigeriasoccer.com has compiled five interesting things you probably didn't know about Ehizibue :
1) Kingsley Ehizibue and his parents, who are both Nigerians, hail from Uromi in Esan North-eastern Local Government Area of Edo State.
2) The 24-year-old is Ishan by tribe, same as Manchester United's Odion Ighalo, Tottenham Hotspur's Dele Alli and Lille's Victor Osimhen.
3) Born in Munich, Germany but raised in the Netherlands, Kingsley is the first child of his parents.
4) He is related by marriage to KFC Uerdingen 05 teen sensation Bright Osemudiamen Kelly. Kingsley's uncle is married to Kelly's aunt.
5) Ehizibue loves eating Nigerian foods.
