Odion Ighalo has been double-nominated for Manchester United's Goal of the Month for March 2020.
The official website of the Red Devils has unveiled a shortlist of ten goals for the best goal scored by a Manchester United player across all levels, including the first team, women's team, U18s and U23s.
Ighalo faces competition from Bruno Fernandes, James Garner, Luke Shaw, Charlie McCann, Anthony Martial, Scott McTominay, Anthony Elanga and Mason Greenwood in his bid to win the accolade.
The experienced Nigerian striker was nominated for his brilliant goals against Derby County and LASK on March 5 and 12 respectively.
In his second attempt after seeing his initial effort blocked, the former Nigeria international finished really well by blasting a left-footed shot into the roof of the net to give Manchester United a 3-0 lead after 69 minutes against Derby County in the Emirates FA Cup.
Against LASK in the Europa League, Ighalo controlled the ball three times before firing home a spectacular effort in off the underside of the bar from just inside the area in the 28th minute to open the scoring for the Premier League team.
The Shanghai Shenhua loanee will find out if he won the Goal of the Month award on Saturday.
