Statistics have shown that Wilfred Ndidi is truly one of the most influential players in Leicester City's first team.
The Nath Boys product quickly established himself as a first-team regular after joining the Foxes in one of the most expensive transfers involving a Nigerian player in history.
According to our colleagues playmakerstats, Leicester City have a losing percentage of 42 percent without the midfield general in the squad since the beginning of the 2016-2017 season and they have won 29 percent.
In 2020, Brendan Rodgers side won only one of the seven matches Ndidi missed as a result of a knee injury and that was against Championship outfit Brentford in the FA Cup.
Of the 130 matches Ndidi has been involved in since his debut in January 2017, Leicester City have a winning percentage of 45 percent and a losing percentage of 34 percent.
The King Power Stadium outfit have conceded more goals without Ndidi (1.5 goals per game) compared to 1.2 goals conceded-per-game with the Super Eagles star in the lineup.
Ndidi is the second top tackler with four per game and third for interceptions (2.7) and blocked passes (1.5) in the English Premier League this season.
