Confirmed : Former Liverpool Winger Amoo Offered New Deal By Port Vale
Published: May 18, 2020
Former Liverpool winger David Amoo could remain at Port Vale for the 2020-2021 season.
The League Two club have announced their retained and release list and the Anglo-Nigerian is among seven out-of-contract players that have been offered new deals.
Amoo joined Port Vale last summer and was in action for 3,055 minutes across 37 matches over the course of the 2019-2020 season.
The 29-year-old spent the formative years of his career at Millwall and Liverpool, for whom he made one appearance in the third qualifying round of the Europa League in the 2010-2011 season.
He enjoyed loan spells at MK Dons, Hull City and Bury during his time at Anfield, before a permanent switch to Preston North End in July 2012.
His other clubs include Tranmere Rovers, Carlisle United, Partick Thistle and Cambridge United.
London-born Amoo has not played internationally for either Nigeria or England.
