16-Match Unbeaten Run Ends : KF Tirana Coach Ndubuisi Egbo Explains What Went Wrong
KF Tirana, coached by retired Nigeria international goalkeeper Ndubuisi Egbo, returned to winning ways by thrashing Vllaznia Shkodër 3-0 in the Albanian Superliga on Friday.

Six days ago, Egbo lost his first ever game as coach of Tirana after they were beaten 1-0 in an away game at Teuta Durrës, ending a 16-game unbeaten run in the process.

The former Super Eagle rued Tirana's missed chances in their loss to Teuta Durrës and believes that they deserved at least one point from the game.

"It wasn't a game we were supposed to lose, the minimum we would have gotten a draw, we played a bad first half but in the second half we were better," Egbo told allnigeriasoccer.com.

"We had more chances than the opponents but did not utilise them. I said to the players at halftime that they should play well in the second half.

"And they went inside, showed what they can do despite being a man down. The win on Friday shows we are on the right road and we continue our journey. "

Six matches to the end of the 2019-2020 season, table topping KF Tirana need a maximum of ten points to be crowned champions of the Albanian Superliga, which would see them qualify for next season's UEFA Champions League.
