Having spent close to a decade at the Arsenal Academy prior to his move to the Saints in 2017, it would be an emotional moment for Tella if he is handed a run-out by manager Ralph Hasenhuttl against his old club.
The Austrian football tactician has hinted that the Nigerian stands a good chance of playing again for the first team before the end of the 2019-2020 season.
Speaking post-match after the 3-0 rout of Norwich City on Friday, Hasenhuttl was quoted as saying by Hampshire Live : "Yes for sure, we could see more from him.
"He likes to hunt, and it is another guy from our academy who I am sure will play a bigger role in the future".
