Partizan Belgrade Coach Reveals The Whereabouts Of Sadiq Amid Transfer Speculation
Published: July 05, 2020
Serbian Super Liga club Partizan Belgrade have started preparations for the 2020-2021 season without their number 9, Sadiq Umar.
The former Nigeria U23 international has been linked with a plethora of clubs in the summer transfer window following a banner season that saw him contribute to 34 goals in 39 games.
It was thought Sadiq traveled abroad to negotiate with one of his suitors but Partizan coach Sava Milosevic has cleared the air regarding the whereabouts of the Nigerian.
"No player was allowed to leave Serbia. I met him, his family, wife and little daughter are there, because I did not allow him to go to Italy, I let him go for three days longer.
"Sadik is in Arandjelovac, he is close to Belgrade," the Partizan coach told reporters.
Partizan Belgrade have put a price tag of fifteen million euros on the head of Sadiq amid speculation linking him with clubs in France, Germany, Belgium, Turkey and Spain.
