Heerenveen Willing To Sell Ejuke On One Condition; Technical Manager Confirms All Bids Rejected
Published: July 23, 2020
SC Heerenveen Technical manager Gerry Hamstra has confirmed that some clubs recently made bids to sign Nigerian winger Chidera Ejuke but they were rejected because his valuation was not met, writes Voetbal International.
Allnigeriasoccer.com exclusively reported three days ago that French and Russian clubs have opened a line of communication with
Heerenveen over the signing of their Nigerian star but no
agreement has been reached because they failed to meet the player's
asking price.
Hamstra has added that an unnamed club based in Italy put in a bid for the former Valerenga starlet which was not accepted.
Though Heerenveen have not ruled out selling Ejuke this summer, an interested club must meet his asking price believed to be more than eight million euros.
The 22-year-old has three years to run on his contract with Heerenveen, so the club are demanding a significant fee from his suitors.
Ejuke has resumed training with Heerenveen ahead of the 2020-2021 season which begins in September.
