'One Of Leicester's Players Of The Season Is Ndidi' - Man Utd To Watch Influential Midfielder
Published: July 26, 2020
All eyes will be on the King Power Stadium this afternoon when Leicester City take on Manchester United on the final day of the 2019-2020 Premier League season, a game that has huge ramifications in the race for the Champions League spots, with both teams separated by one point.
Previewing the match, the official website of Manchester United has identified two Leicester City stars the Red Devils players must pay special attention to.
Currently on 23 goals, Jamie Vardy will be looking to add to his tally as he chases the top goalscoring prize and the other player who poses a threat to United's Champions League ambitions is Wilfred Ndidi.
On Ndidi, Manchester United's official website wrote : "One of Leicester's players of the season is Wilfred Ndidi.
"The Nigerian has been incredibly influential in the middle of the park for the Foxes, who went through a poor run of form mid-season when he was on the sidelines due to a knee injury.
"Ndidi has made 123 tackles in the Premier League this term - the only player who has made any more is our very own, Aaron Wan-Bissaka."
Since joining Leicester in January 2017, Ndidi has faced Manchester United six times in the Premier League, with The Foxes losing five of the matches and drawing the other.
