Chelsea Loanee Moses More Or Less Confirms He's Extending Inter Stay Beyond End Of Serie A Season
Published: August 03, 2020
Chelsea-owned wing-back Victor Moses has more or less confirmed that he's extending his stay at Italian club Inter Milan beyond the end of the Serie A season which came to a conclusion this past weekend, allnigeriasoccer.com reports.
The 2013 Africa Cup of Nations winner has taken to social media to reveal that he is focused on the Europa League now.
Whether he is signed permanently by Inter Milan before the close of the summer transfer window is another matter.
Though Inter Milan have yet to provide clarity on the situation of their number 11, a check on UEFA's official website has shown that Moses is still listed as one of the players available for selection for the knockout rounds of the Europa League.
The 29-year-old's original agreement would have kept him at the Nerazzurri until June 30, 2020, but Chelsea were magnanimous to allow the Nigerian remain in Italy until the end of the protracted season.
Writing on Instagram after the win vs Atalanta, Moses said : "Good 2-0 win, Thanks to all of our amazing fans for your support this season! All focus on the Europa League now 💪🏿".
Since his reunion with manager Antonio Conte in January, Moses has been involved in all the matches played by Inter in the Europa League, starting both games in the last 32 against Bulgarian outfit Ludogorets.
Things will become clearer when the Italians face Spanish opposition Getafe on August 5.
