Valmiera's Arokodare Topping the Goalscoring Chart In Latvia After Scoring Twice Vs Alampasu

2000-born striker Tolu Arokodare netted two goals for his Latvian side Valmiera / BSS against Dele Alampasu’s Ventspils on Monday in a comfortable 3-0 win for his club, allnigeriasoccer.com reports.
In doing so, he took his tally for the season to 9 goals in 12 starts, making him the leading marksman in the Virsliga this term.
Arokodare netted in the 57th minute to double Valmiera's advantage, after Jorge Teixeira had opened the scoring at minute 33.
Arokodare then sealed the victory for Valmiera by netting the third goal from the penalty spot in the 63rd minute, before making way for Skopenko just before the end of the game.
2013 U17 World Cup-winning goalkeeper Dele Alampasu was in between the pipes for Ventspils in what was his sixth appearance of the season, during which he has posted one shutout.
Valmiera are now fourth in the league table with 18 points accumulated following their comfortable win but trail leaders Riga by 15 points ahead of their visit to Tukums on Saturday.
