Done Deal : Ex-Inter Milan Trialist Likened To Obafemi Martins, Apeh Joins CD Tenerife
Published: August 07, 2020
Spanish LaLiga SmartBank club CD Tenerife have officially announced the capture of Nigerian striker Emmanuel Apeh.
The 23-year-old has inked a three-year deal that will see him remain in the Canary Islands until the end of the 2022-23 season.
Apeh is joining CD Tenerife from Celta Vigo, where he spent the last two years of his career, during which he scored 21 goals in 49 games for the B team while making two appearances for the first team.
Apeh, who has been likened to Super Eagles striker Obafemi Martins, tested with Inter Milan in 2014 but nothing came out of it, before earning a move to Spanish outfit Alcalá B the following year.
Apeh is eager to start pre-season with his new teammates, wants to grow personally and professionally at CD Tenerife, and has thanked the supporters for the good words he has received.
A product of Samvic Football Academy in Lagos, he has La Liga, La Liga 2 and Segunda Division B experience under his belt.
