Official : Turkish Club Konyaspor Loan In Super Eagles Striker Eduok From Hajduk Split
Published: August 26, 2020
Emem Eduok will be spending the whole of the 2020-2021 season on loan at Turkish Super Lig side Konyaspor, the striker's parent club Hadjuk Split officially announced on Wednesday.
An option to buy has been inserted into the loan deal taking the out-of-favour Nigeria international to Konyaspor.
Aged 26, Eduok is returning to Turkey for a second spell after previously wearing the colours of Kasimpasa and BB Erzurumspor.
The former Dolphins and Akwa United star impressed in his first season at Hadjuk Split, scoring 11 goals with three assists in 32 official appearances for the six-time Croatian champions.
A versatile attacker, Eduok has played mostly as a right or left winger since moving to Europe in August 2016.
He has 92 games under his belt in the Turkish Super Lig and found the net 20 times while assisting seven others.
Konyaspor, who finished thirteenth in the league last season, have started preparations for the coming season.
