Nigerian wonderkid Joel Ideho is making progress a month after joining Arsenal from Dutch glamour club Ajax Amsterdam, allnigeriasoccer.com reports.
Arsenal first team manager Mikel Arteta promoted the highly-rated teenager to first team training on Thursday, November 12.
As many as thirteen Arsenal first-teamers including Bukayo Saka are currently on international duties with their respective nations, so to make up the numbers the Spanish football tactician invited some promising youth team players to train with the first team at London Colney yesterday.
The 17-year-old Ideho trained with the likes of Joe Willock, David Luiz, Willian, Rob Holding, Calum Chambers and Shkodran Mustafi.
The winger is eligible to represent the Gunners first team in the Premier League, League Cup and Emirates FA Cup and has been allocated the number 95 jersey for the competitions.
He made his official debut for Arsenal development squad in a 6-0 rout of Blackburn Rovers in the Premier League 2 a week ago and was a non-playing substitute against Liverpool U23s and the recent game vs Gillingham in the Papa John's Trophy.
