Dynamo Moscow Coach Provides Injury Update On Nigeria International Striker Ahead Of Trip To Rostov
Published: November 25, 2020Nigeria international Sylvester Igboun will not be involved for Dynamo Moscow when they tackle Rostov in the Russian Premier League on Saturday, November 28.
The striker has not figured for the capital team since September 28 after fracturing his rib but there is good news regarding his health as the former FC Midtjylland man has been carrying out personalized training.
Igboun has missed the last six matches played by Dyanmo in the Russian top-flight - against Krasnodar, CSKA Moscow, Sochi, Tambov, Lokomotiv Moscow and Spartak Moscow.
Speaking to reporters at Wednesday's press conference ahead of the trip to Rostov, Dynamo coach Sandro Schwarz said : "On Saturday he will definitely not be in the lineup. Sly is already practicing individually. In the near future he will join the general group."
Prior to his spell on the sidelines, Sly played nine games in the Premier League logging 345 minutes and featured in the second qualifying round of the Europa League.
The FC Ebedei product joined Dynamo Moscow on a permanent deal from FK Ufa in July 2020.
