Aina's Fulham Premier League Match At Tottenham Hotspur Postponed
Published: December 30, 2020
The matchday sixteen Premier League match between Tottenham Hotspur and Fulham earlier scheduled to take place at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Wednesday, December 30 has been postponed due to the outbreak of coronavirus.
The Cottagers write on their official website that a number of players and first team staff returned positive results from the most recent Covid-19 tests this week.
Fulham have in their ranks four players of Nigerian descent Ola Aina, Ademola Lookman, Tosin Adarabioyo and Josh Onomah.
The Premier League confirmed on Tuesday eighteen positive coronavirus tests among players and staff in its latest round of testing.
Another round of 16 fixture between Alex Iwobi's Everton and Manchester City was called off at the last minute after a coronavirus outbreak within Pep Guardiola's squad.
Manager Scott Parker has selected Aina, Lookman and Adarabioyo in his starting lineup in the last eleven matches, while Onomah was not registered for the Premier League due to a long-term injury but he's nearing a return to full fitness.
