Reggina Interested In 2015 U17 World Cup Winner Okwonkwo
2015 U17 World Cup-winning striker Orji Okwonkwo is reportedly drawing interest from Italian Serie B club Reggina.

According to Corriere dello Sport (via Tuttomercatoweb), Reggina sports director Massimo Taibi has contacted Bologna for the signature of Okwonkwo.

The 23-year-old has returned to his parent club after spending the last two seasons at Major League Soccer club Montreal Impact.

Per the report, Reggina have identified Okwonkwo as an alternative should their bid to sign Las Palmas striker Pietro Iemmello prove unsuccessful.

Gli Amaranto are scouring the market for a striker with Gabriel Charpentier set to return to parent club Genoa after suffering another injury.

Reggina are familiar with Okwonkwo who has made 43 appearances combined for Bologna and Brescia, scoring four goals.
