Germany Hoping To Beat Nigeria, England To Bayern Superkid By Handing Him Senior Call Up March
The German Football Association are planning to beat Nigeria and England to the services of Bayern Munich teenage sensation Jamal Musiala, according to reports.

German newspaper Bild has reported that the Chelsea academy product will sign his first professional contract on February 26 and the following month he will receive his first senior call-up to Germany's national team.

Born in Stuttgart seventeen years ago, Musiala qualifies to represent the Super Eagles through his Nigerian dad and can also turn out for England, where he spent most of his childhood.

The attacking midfielder became provisionally cap-tied to England when he made his competitive debut for the Young Lions in an U21 Euro qualifier against Andorra last November, having previously played non-competitive matches for England U15 and U16s as well as Germany U16s.

Germany coach Joachim Löw and DFB director Oliver Bierhoff will hold talks with Musiala next month in their attempt to convince him to choose Die Mannschaft over Super Eagles and Three Lions.

The German Football Association would lock up the international future of Musiala if he ultimately decides to feature for the four-time world champions and makes four senior appearances before the age of 21.

He has played 21 matches for Bayern Munich's first team, scoring three goals.
