Super Eagles Striker Isaac Success Steps Up Comeback With 45 Minutes For Watford U23s
Published: February 11, 2021
Isaac Success took a big step in his bid to be match fit by featuring for Watford U23s in a training game on Wednesday, allnigeriasoccer.com understands.
The Nigeria international completed forty-five minutes as he continues his comeback from injury.
The former Udinese and Granada man has returned to full training with the Watford first team squad after recovering from a hamstring problem.
Success has not featured for the Hornets first team or made a matchday squad this season as a result of the ailment.
Last season, the 2013 U17 World Cup winner also struggled with injuries, making only seven appearances in all competitions for the first team.
It is unclear whether manager Xisco Muñoz will consider the striker for the upcoming game against Bristol City on Saturday, February 13.
Success has a contract with Watford until June 30, 2023.
