Olayinka on target, Balogun sent off as Rangers are beaten 3-1 on aggregate by Slavia Prague
Scottish champions Glasgow Rangers have crashed out of the Europa League with a 3-1 loss on aggregate to Czech side Slavia Prague at the Ibrox Stadium on Thursday night.

Super Eagles winger Peter Olayinka passed a late fitness test to be included in Slavia's starting lineup, while Rangers pair Leon Balogun and Joe Aribo were picked to start and Calvin Bassey was an unused substitute.

The visitors had a great start as Olayinka gave them the lead in the fourteenth minute, the number 9 powered the ball into the near post with a header after getting in front of Rangers center back Connor Goldson.

Balogun went into the referee's notebook after he was penalised for a foul on Provod on 18 minutes.

Olayinka limped a little bit as he made way for Lukas Masopust in the 58th minute, he was substituted as he wasn't fit enough to go the full ninety.

Rangers played the last seventeen minutes with nine men after Balogun was dismissed for a second bookable offense and things got worse for Steven Gerrard's team as Nicolae Stanciu, with a fabulous free-kick, doubled the advantage in the 74th minute.

It wasn't a good game discipline-wise for the Premiership side, Aribo was among the five Rangers players cautioned during the match.
