Snapped : Super Eagles' players and officials arrive in Porto-Novo; undergo COVID-19 tests
The Nigeria Football Federation have confirmed that the Super Eagles' players and officials have arrived in Porto-Novo ahead of the eagerly anticipated 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against closest Group L challengers, the Republic of Benin.

The players and officials led by manager Gernot Rohr all went by speedboat to the capital of Republic of Benin, and had their COVID-19 tests at the point of entry.

As stipulated by the Confederation of African Football, those tests are mandatory before the players and officials take to the pitch for tomorrow's game.

Upon their arrival in Porto-Novo, they traveled to Cotonou and are lodging at the Golden Tulip Le Diplomat Hotel in the city.

Per CAF rules, Rohr and his team will have a feel of the Stade Charles de Gaulle later today before returning to their hotel.

Nigeria will qualify for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations as Group L winners if they beat the Squirrels, who have not lost at home in eight years, and will also advance to the tournament in Cameroon with a draw.
