SD Huesca loanee Nwakali continues rich vein of form with third goal in four games

SD Huesca loanee Kelechi Nwakali continued his rich vein of form for AD Alcorcón in the Spanish Segunda Division by inspiring them to a impressive 3-1 road win against Lugo on Saturday afternoon.
The former Arsenal midfielder headed into the contest at the Estadio Anxo Carro (Lugo) with two goals to his name from three league matches.
Nwakali netted an insurance goal from the spot in the 81st minute just as the visitors were threatening an equaliser.
The 22-year-old joined Alcoron on loan in the January transfer window after finding into difficult to break into SD Huesca's starting lineup.
Including today's game at Lugo in which he went the full ninety, he has started all the matches played by Alcorcón - twelve in total - since joining the club.
In the provisional standings, Alcoron, who were candidates for relegation before Nwakali's arrival, have climbed out of the drop zone with 38 points accumulated from 35 matches.
The Madrid based club face Kenneth Omeruo's Leganes in their next league game on April 25.
