'A real bright spark' - Ex-Chelsea midfielder names Lookman as Fulham's go-to man
Published: May 10, 2021
Former Chelsea midfielder Steve Sidwell has identified Super Eagles hopeful Ademola Lookman as the most outstanding player at Fulham even though it seems the RB Leipzig loanee has run out of goals and has not assisted since week 29.
Lookman has been named in the starting lineup for the ongoing Premier League clash against Burnley, with Ola Aina and Josh Maja dropping to the bench.
It is a really significant match in the Premier League as if the Clarets were to win it will secure their Premier League status but would mean Fulham are making an immediate return to the Championship - the reason Lookman has to step up his game tonight.
The former Everton winger has registered eight goal involvements in the Premier League, four goals and four assists.
Speaking on Premier League Productions few minutes before the start of the game at Craven Cottage, Sidwell stated : "He was a real bright spark, really brought a dangerous side to him and he was their go-to man.
"He was creating chances, he was scoring goals, he had the penalty miss when he tried a little dink at West Ham, came over that really well."

Fulham have scored only nine goals at Craven Cottage in this season's Premier League and Lookman contributed to five of those goals.
