Why Watford striker Success has not completed permanent transfer to Udinese
Published: August 24, 2021
Watford attacker Isaac Success has not yet completed a transfer to Udinese despite agreeing terms with the Serie A outfit.
The Nigeria national teamer was scheduled to arrive in Italy last Friday to undergo a medical examination but the proposed move has been held up because he is still in the United Kingdom.
The 2013 U17 World Cup winner is expected to travel to Udine in the coming days to sign the contract and become a new Udinese player, subject to him passing a medical.
As previously reported by allnigeriasoccer.com, Success has agreed a three-year deal that will see him remain at Udinese until the end of the 2023-2024 season.
The 25-year-old moved to Vicarage Road in the summer of 2016 and is set to depart the Hornets after netting six goals in 72 appearances in all competitions.
The BJ Foundation product was omitted from Watford's matchday roster for their first two Premier League games of the new season against Aston Villa and Brighton & Hove.
