Rodgers confirms Leicester's top goalscorer in 2020-21 is 100% fine to face Man Utd
Published: October 15, 2021It's only seven games gone in the new English Premier League season but Leicester City have not lived up to their own high standards they set in recent seasons.
Sitting 13th in the table and currently without a win since the end of August, the Foxes face a big test on Saturday afternoon when they face Manchester United at the King Power Stadium.
As broken by allnigeriasoccer.com a week ago, Super Eagles striker Kelechi Iheanacho is in contention to feature against the Red Devils.
The Foxes number 14 was substituted at half-time in the home fixture against Central African Republic due to a knock but shook off the injury scare to start the reverse fixture last weekend.
Manager Brendan Rodgers has confirmed that the Nigeria international is in contention to be included in the matchday 20 in tomorrow's clash with Manchester United.

Asked to provide an update on Iheanacho's slight injury issue while on international duty, Rodgers told reporters at Friday's pre-match press conference : "He's one hundred percent fine".
Iheanacho has tasted action in all the matches contested by Leicester City in the 2021-2022 Premier League, scoring one goal and assisting another.
The 25-year-old was the Foxes top goalscorer last season with 19 goals from 39 appearances in all competitions.
