Nigeria football legend Austin Jay Jay Okocha demonstrated that he was a big fan of music queen and MTN Project Fame winner, Chidinma Ekile popularly known by her stage name Chidinma during the recent Women Celebrating Women (WCW) event held at the Eko Hotel, Lagos.
An impeccable source at the occasion disclosed to this reporter that Okocha who was apparently impressed by Chidinma's performance on stage on the night approached her when he sighted her at the Eko Hotel lobby about 2am in the morning and requested for the phone number of the 'Kedike' crooner.
"As soon as Jay Jay sighted Chidinma at the lobby, he walked straight to her and congratulated her on her great performance on stage that night.
"He chatted with Chidinma briefly after which he demanded for her phone number. Initially Chidinma was shy and hesitated to give it out but as Okocha pressed on she succumbed in giving him the number," disclosed our source who was a former Super Eagles' captain.
In 2010,Chidinma won the third season of MTN Project Fame West Africa.
She has won several awards at home and abroad including the Kora Awards and Nigeria Entertainment Award where she won the Musician and Female Artist of the Year respectively in 2012.
