Super Eagles camp update: 14 players in Rabat including Lookman, Ajayi, Nwabali, Obasogie

The Super Eagles have continued assembling their squad in Rabat ahead of Nigeria's 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying playoff against Gabon.
Four players—Ademola Lookman, Semi Ajayi, Stanley Nwabali, and Amas Obasogie—have reported for international duty, bringing the number of players currently in camp to 14.
The earlier arrivals included Fulham trio Alex Iwobi, Calvin Bassey, and Samuel Chukwueze, Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Tolu Arokodare, ex-Golden Eaglets forward Olakunle Olusegun, Besiktas midfielder Wilfred Ndidi, Paris FC attacker Moses Simon, Al-Kholood centre-back William Troost-Ekong, Brentford loanee Benjamin Frederick, and Nantes defender Chidozie Awaziem.
Seven additional players are expected to join the squad later on Monday as preparations continue for Thursday’s playoff against Gabon.
The Super Eagles are scheduled to face Gabon in Rabat, with the winner advancing to the African playoff final on November 16 against either Cameroon or the Democratic Republic of Congo.
The 14 players currently in camp are: Calvin Bassey, Alex Iwobi, Samuel Chukwueze, Tolu Arokodare, Olakunle Olusegun, Wilfred Ndidi, Moses Simon, William Troost-Ekong, Benjamin Frederick, Chidozie Awaziem, Amas Obasogie, Stanley Nwabali, Semi Ajayi, and Ademola Lookman
