Super Eagles camp update: Osayi-Samuel, Onyedika, Ejuke and Adams check in as training begins

The Super Eagles continue to assemble their squad in Rabat as preparations intensify ahead of Nigeria's 2026 Fifa World Cup qualifying playoff against Gabon, allnigeriasoccer.com reports.
The number of players in camp has now risen to 18 with the arrival of Akor Adams, Chidera Ejuke, Bright Osayi-Samuel, and Raphael Onyedika, joining the previously reported 14 players.
The current roster in camp includes Calvin Bassey, Alex Iwobi, Samuel Chukwueze, Tolu Arokodare, Olakunle Olusegun, Wilfred Ndidi, Moses Simon, William Troost-Ekong, Benjamin Frederick, Chidozie Awaziem, Amas Obasogie, Stanley Nwabali, Semi Ajayi, Ademola Lookman, Akor Adams, Chidera Ejuke, Bright Osayi-Samuel and Raphael Onyedika.
Under the watchful eyes of coach Eric Chelle, the team held their first training session on Monday evening at the Institut Royal de Formation des Cadres in Rabat as they began fine-tuning their preparations for the crucial playoff.
Three additional players are expected to join the squad later tonight, a total of 24 players have been invited for the Gabon clash.
The winner of the Nigeria verus Gabonfixture will advance to the African playoff final scheduled for November 16, where they will meet either Cameroon or the Democratic Republic of Congo.
