Chelsea's highest goalscorer in history to coach Super Eagles playmaker

English Premier League side Everton are reportedly on the verge of confirming the appointment of legendary Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard as coach of the club.
According to Italian super football journalist Fabrizio Romano via Twitter, Lampard will sign as the Toffees new boss in the coming hours and the decision was communicated to Vitor Pereira and Duncan Ferguson on Friday night.
A full agreement has been reached with the Premier League icon and only an official announcement is left.
Lampard is Chelsea's highest goalscorer of all time, netting 211 goals in thirteen years at Stamford Bridge,.
The 43-year-old will begin coaching Super Eagles playmaker Alex Iwobi in the coming days .
Iwobi made seventeen appearances in all competitions under dismissed coach Rafa Benitez of which nine were starts, scoring two goals while providing an assist, before reporting for international with the Super Eagles for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations.
Since landing at Everton from Arsenal in August 2019, the Hale End Academy graduate has played under three different managers namely Marco Silva, Duncan Ferguson and Carlo Ancelotti.
