Iheanacho scores fourth career goal against Man Utd as points are shared at Old Trafford
Leicester City were held to a 1-1 draw by Manchester United in a Premier League clash at Old Trafford on Saturday evening.

There was a start for Kelechi Iheanacho, Ademola Lookman was a non-playing substitute after international duty with the Super Eagles, and Wilfred Ndidi missed the game through injury.

In a goalless first half, Bruno Fernandes unquestionably had the best chance to give United the lead but Kasper Schmeichel made a very good save with his foot, while the Foxes did not have a shot on target.

On 63 minutes, Iheanacho headed in at the near post an inch perfect delivery from James Maddison to give Brendan Rodgers's side the lead.

His first goal on this ground was in a derby game back in September 2016 in the colours of Manchester City and bagged a brace in an Emirates FA Cup clash at the King Power Stadium in March 2021, taking his career goals against the Red Devils to four in ten appearances across all competitions.

It was a big response from United after going a goal behind as Fred converted from close range after the Leicester goalkeeper saved Fernandes' shot in the 66th minute.

It could have been two for Iheanacho in the 71st minute but his chip over the goalkeeper was over the bar.

The Nigeria national teamer made way for Patson Daka in the 90th minute.
