Four minutes from time, West Ham loanee Mipo Odubeko slotted home after a brilliant cross from the right, taking his tally to four goals in twenty two appearances for Port Vale. 

 

Elsewhere in the division, Fleetwood Town thrashed Shrewsbury Town 3-0 at Montgomery Waters Meadow. 

 

Promise Omochere, a summer signing from Bohemians, opened his account for the Fishermen 28 minutes into the first half with a poacher's finish from close range. 

 

The 22-year-old's first goal in Fleetwood Town's colours was netted in his eighteenth appearance across all competitions.

 

In a League Two encounter at the Suit Direct Stadium, Hartlepool United and Harrogate Town shared the spoils in a six-goal thriller, with two players of Nigerian descent finding the back of the net. 

 

In the 45th minute, Josh Umerah bagged his eleventh of the season in all competitions to make it 1-1. 

 

Sam Folarin scored an equalizer of his own three minutes into the second half, finding the bottom corner for 2-2.
