Cobham product Ola Aina has seemingly given his approval to Chelsea's deal for Benoit Badiashile by liking Chelsea's Instagram post confirming the capture of the central defender from AS Monaco.
A France international of African descent, Badiashile has joined Chelsea on a seven-a-half-year contract, a deal that will keep him at Stamford Bridge until June 30, 2030.
The 21-year-old departs Monaco after making 135 appearances in all competitions,.scoring six goals and registering three assists.
Aina, who was on the books of Chelsea for twelve years before moving on to pastures news, still follows the happenings around the club to this day, going by his social media activities.

Chelsea's initial announcement of Badiashile's signing has been liked by 238,232 Instagram users, including Aina.
Aina, Chelsea's record appearance maker in the UEFA Youth League with 20 games, made six first team appearances for his boyhood club before joining Torino on a permanent deal in 2019.
He was a member of the Chelsea side that won the UEFA Youth League in the 2014-2015 and 2015-2016 seasons.
