Fulham star Tosin among four players on Tottenham shortlist for centre-backs this summer
Published: July 05, 2023
Fulham's Nigeria-eligible player Tosin Adarabioyo remains on the radar of Tottenham Hotspur this summer.
According to Sky Sports UK, four players have been identified by Tottenham's recruitment staff as potential targets for the centre-back position, namely Tosin, Micky van de Ven (VfL Wolfsburg), Clement Lenglet (Barcelona) and Edmond Tapsoba (Bayer Leverkusen).
It has been suggested that the north London club are aiming to sign at least two players from that list before the summer transfer window closes for business.
Tosin has made it clear he wants to depart Fulham this summer and with one year left on his contract, the Cottagers may be forced to sell him or risk losing him for nothing at the end of the 2023-2024 campaign.
Fulham activated the option in his contract in January, which saw him tied to the Londoners until June 30, 2024.
The Manchester native would be an interesting signing for Premier League clubs given that he is a homegrown player, having spent the formative years of his career at Manchester City before joining Fulham three years ago.
Tosin has logged 58 appearances in the Premier League since making his debut in the division against Sheffield United in October 2020.
The 25-year-old has also been linked with Italian and French clubs.
